Despite Lille's below par season, competition for the award was strong, but Fonte clocked almost 50% of the votes ahead of highly-rated pair Sven Botman and Jonathan David, who finished second and third respectively. The Seleção man became the oldest player to play in every single minute of all Ligue 1 matches, beating the record set by legendary Cameroonian goalkeeper Joseph-Antoine Bell with Saint-Etienne in the 1992-93 season.
In The Mr 100% - The Real Player
In 1981, he made his PBA debut for Tefilin. In 14 games, he averaged an outstanding 51 point per game, but failed to lead his team to a championship. He returned to the Philippines in 1982, playing 66 games for San Miguel Beer and averaged close to 43 points per contest. With him, locals Yoyong Martirez, Manny Paner, Marte Saldaña, and head coach Tommy Manotoc, San Miguel won the 1982 Invitational tournament against guest South Korea. In 1983, he played for Great Taste Coffee and averaged 38 points in 49 games played. Always considered an intelligent as well as a hard-working player, he became the recipient of the very first "Mr. 100% Award" in that season. Sportscaster Pinggoy Pengson dubbed him "That Old Black Magic" after a song from the 1950s.
Two years later, he returned to play for Magnolia Quench Plus, norming 43.5 points per game, while scoring his career best 76 points. After Magnolia (later San Miguel Beer), left the league for a while, he played for rookie squad Alaska, after former Magnolia players were put in the new franchise. After a short while, he returned to San Miguel as their playing coach in some import-laden conferences while acting as a full-time coach in the All-Filipino Conferences. In 1989, he played and coached the Beermen to a rare Grand Slam, the third in PBA history. In 1990, he played his last complete season as a player before finally focusing his duties as head coach in 1991.
His coaching career started around 1985 and 1986, as a playing coach. But by 1987, he became San Miguel's full-time coach until 1996, when he left the Beermen. He won nine championships as head coach of San Miguel including a Grandslam in 1989 making San Miguel the winningest team in the PBA, coaching some of the best players in PBA history such as superstars Samboy Lim, Allan Caidic, Hector Calma, Ramon Fernandez, Ricky Brown, Ato Agustin and role players Alvin Teng, Yves Dignadice, Art dela Cruz, Franz Pumaren, Elmer Reyes, Jeffrey Graves, Pido Jarencio, Bobby Jose, Romy Lopez, Josel Angeles, Ricky Cui, Kevin Ramas, Bong Ravena, and Dong Polistico. In 1994, he was named head coach of the Philippine Team in the Hiroshima Asian Games, after the Beermen won the All-Filipino Cup. However, the country went home without a medal in basketball, after placing fourth. In 1996, with San Miguel needing an import, he played as a temporary import for the Beermen and scored 15 points.
He operates the Casino which is located behind Sandy's store, the Oasis, in the Calico Desert. To gain access to the Casino players must complete the quest line "The Mysterious Qi". After the quest is complete the bouncer will move aside to allow the player to enter. He can be found inside the Casino whenever it is open.
He also can be found on Ginger Island in his walnut room, once the player has obtained 100 Golden Walnuts. Here, he will give the player special Qi challenges. Upon completing these challenges, the player will be rewarded with Qi Gems.
"Especially since I've met the parents. It's 100% real," Jones said at his trial to determine how much he and his media company, Free Speech Systems, owe for defaming Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis. Their son Jesse Lewis was among the 20 students and six educators who were killed in the attack in Newtown, Connecticut, which was the deadliest school shooting in American history.
Augmented reality (AR) enhances our view of the real world by overlaying what we see with computer-generated information. Today, this technology is prevalent in smartphone AR applications that require the user to hold their phone in front of them. By taking the image from the camera and processing it in real-time, the app is able to display contextual information or deliver gaming and social experiences that appear to be rooted in the real world.
MR sits somewhere between AR and VR, as it merges the real and virtual worlds. There are three key scenarios for this type of XR technology. The first is through a smartphone or AR wearable device with virtual objects and characters superimposed into real-world environments, or potentially vice versa.
Believe it or not, in the PBA's 47-year history, all numbers from 00 to 47 were used at least once by a player or referee. Some numbers were used more than most, of course, and that got us thinking: who was the best player to have donned each jersey number?
9 - Samboy Lim: the "Skywalker" enthralled fans with his aerial acrobatics both in the PBA and in international competition. He was also named one of the 25 greatest players in league history.
20 - Sean Chambers: he is the only import to have his jersey number retired by his former team which he led to its first ever franchise title in 1991. He is only the second player ever to be feted with the "Mr. 100%" award.
46 - Jun Cordero: Okay, okay. He was a referee, not a player. But we had to squeeze him in because after an exhaustive search we could not find any PBA player - local or import - who wore the number 46. Any information to the contrary is welcome.
Dennis the Menace was first introduced in a comic strip created by Hank Ketcham in 1951. Ketcham based the character off his real son, Dennis, and named the fictional parents after himself and his then-wife Alice. The real Dennis wound up estranged from his father, who continued writing the comic strip despite the rift.
To appease the sponsors of Dennis the Menace, North appeared in commercials for Kellogg's cereals, Best Foods mayonnaise, Bosco chocolate milk and Skippy peanut butter. In the Skippy commercial, Mr. Wilson tries to enjoy peanuts in peace, and that's okay, because Dennis isn't impressed by how his peanuts taste anyway. He finds something they both enjoy in Skippy peanut butter, of course.

The 2020-21 college basketball season is finally upon us. We're a mere two weeks away from real games being played, the first live action in the sport since the season screeched to a halt in March amid the growing coronavirus epidemic.
Now, though, it's time to get serious and talk in detail about the players to watch this season. As usual, our annual exercise of ranking of the best 101 players in the sport is a herculean task, but with the input from all our college hoops experts, we've compiled a list we feel confident is totally flawless. As a reminder on this list: we do not discriminate on age, or classification. We do not put a weighted preference on players from big schools over smaller schools. We simply rely on the talent and production and let it guide us. This isn't about NBA Draft stock, either. It's just: who are the best players at playing college basketball.
1. Luka Garza, Iowa: The Hawkeyes' Garza is the only player selected to one of last season's CBS Sports All-America teams who returned to college for the 2020-21 season, which makes him the most logical person to top this list. The 6-foot-11 center averaged 23.9 points and 9.8 rebounds as a junior while securing Big Ten Player of Year honors. His decision to play one more season at Iowa gives the Hawkeyes a legitimate chance to make the Final Four for the first time since 1980. -- Gary Parrish
3. Ayo Dosunmu, Illinois: After an All-Big Ten First Team breakout last season, Dosunmu opted to put a pause on his NBA career and is back as a junior to lead a top-10 Illini team. He figures to be one of the most prolific scorers on a roster that has a real chance to compete for a national championship. -- Kyle Boone
11. Garrison Brooks, North Carolina: Roy Williams fielded his worst UNC team to date last season with Brooks acting as one of the team's steadying hands. Now he'll field a rebuilt team led by Brooks who we anticipate to have a huge senior season. The top returning scorer and rebounder for the Tar Heels headlines a team that could realistically go from worst to first in the ACC. -- KB
12. Sam Hauser, Virginia: Hauser will provide immediate relief for a Virginia program that was starved for 3-point shooting last season. The Marquette transfer shot 44.5% from 3-point range during his three seasons in the Big East and is also a great rebounder and solid passer. He's not going to post eye-catching statistics because of Virginia's slow pace, but Hauser will be one of the top players in the ACC. -- DC
18. Keyontae Johnson, Florida: The Gators have a lot of talent and a big season of expectation again, but those who saw UF underperform last season know that Johnson (14.0 ppg, 7.1 rpg) brought the goods way more often than not. Mike White has a forward who's unafraid of attacking around the rim. He's as flexible a player as there might be in the SEC. Does so much all over both ends of the floor. -- MN
21. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Villanova: Robinson-Earl is the second Villanova player to appear on this list, making the Wildcats one of four teams to have two players in the top 25. The 6-9 sophomore averaged 10.5 points and 9.4 rebounds last season for a Villanova team that shared the Big East title. If Robinson-Earl takes the so-called next step, Jay Wright could become just the seventh coach in history to win three national titles at the Division I level in men's basketball. -- GP 2ff7e9595c
