If you are using AutoCAD 2015, you have probably noticed that the bottom area of the workspace has become thinner than before since the drawing status bar, the application status bar, and the layout and model tabs have been all merged into a single, busy bar.
Notes from Cadalyst tip reviewer R.K. McSwain: These are very good tips regarding AutoCAD 2015 and its new status bar. Tawfik points out some options that are a bit obscure. Experiment to see what works best for you.
My problem is maybe the opposite. I only want ONE autocad dwg to open at a time. When I open a different dwg, I want AutoCAD to ask if I want to save the opened dwg first, then close said same dwg, before it opens the new or different AutoCAD dwg. The older versions of AutoCAD used to have that function, under tools I think. Can anyone show me how to accomplish that? 2ff7e9595c
